If Jesus was my iPhone, I would never leave Him at home and if I did I’d make sure to come back and get Him.

Can you imagine if I carried Jesus in my back pocket? Before I did anything I would take Him out and consult Him for directions. “Where do I go and how do I get there, how long will it take? Should I leave now or later? Are there accidents and hazards in my way? Should I avoid a certain route?” I would ask Him “What’s good to do today, near me”? Are there any free activities this weekend near me?” That way I can be a good steward of my finances.

If Jesus were my iPhone I would diligently set aside a budget like tithing to make sure I never miss a payment and we never lose touch. If I were to travel abroad, I would always make sure I have coverage so He can always send me a message and communicate with me. I would sync Him to my watch so I never miss His messages and calls and I always know what time it is.

Before I went to sleep I would spend hours looking at His Face and when I fell asleep I’d sleep right next to Him and maybe even hold Him in the palm of my hand while I slept.

I would make sure He was charged all night and if I woke up in the middle of the night, He would be the first thing I would look for and check on. I would check to see if He left me any messages or if He liked what I did that day, where I went, and who I was with.

If Jesus was my iPhone I would ask Him to find the answers about the things I need to know, all the things I was curious or not sure about. I would consult with Him about what I should do about my anxieties and worries. I would ask for His reviews and base my decisions and choices on His recommendations.

If Jesus was my iPhone I would make sure He was always connected and that He knew all the passwords and unblock all my firewalls and securities so that He could always get through to me.

If Jesus were my iPhone I could check and track how much time I’ve spent with Him, how many steps I took walking with Him, and make it a point to make my daily minimum of 10,000.

I don’t know what I would do if I lost my iPhone, I probably would panic and feel pretty lost without it.

If Jesus was my iPhone, He would never lose me. My location is always available to Him on Find My People.
